About this Company

The Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) is an international organization that aims to reduce the ever-growing gap between the developed and developing world through useful applications of science and technology.

COMSATS is one of Pakistan’s top universities, ranked among top the 250 Asian Universities by QS University Rankings in 2014 and 1st overall in the country according to NatureIndex. Its main campus, located in Islamabad, has over 8,500 students with 30,000 more students studying across its 6 satellite campuses. COMSATS has 18 departments which, combined, offer 97 degree programs and has since its inception produced over 250 PhDs. COMSATS has also established the country's first ever Student Startup Business Center (SSBC) to support and promote entrepreneurship and innovation in its academic environment.

Responsibilities

COMSATS is still finalising the details of this internship - more details will be available soon. In general, a COMSATS intern will:

• Be provided the opportunity to learn from, interact with and shadow the country’s best university personnel

• Work with members of COMSATS on ad hoc and miscellaneous tasks
