How long are the internships? When do they start?

4-6 weeks depending on the opportunity advertised by the company. We will liaise with you to find a suitable 4-6 week gap in the Summer that works for both you and the company.

Can I apply?

You need to be a University student or a recent graduate. Your degree does not to be directly relevant to the position you are applying for, unless directly mentioned in the position description.

Do I have to be Pakistani or have Pakistani heritage to intern?

No. The Dil Internship Project is open to all.

Do I need to speak Urdu to intern with you?

No. The business language of Pakistan is English, and we will ensure your work will only involve languages that you are comfortable speaking in.

Where are your opportunities?

Most of our opportunities are in Pakistan, but we have a couple of opportunities available in Dubai and London.

Do I have to live at the provided accommodation?

No. You do not have to live in the accommodation we provide, but you will have to liaise with the Dil Internship Project team so we can help ensure your safety during your time with us.

Will you provide domestic transport?

Yes. We will help facilitate your work-related and social domestic travel.

Do I need to ensure that I have made the correct international travel arrangements?

Yes you are responsible for booking your flights. We will liaise with you if you are in need of visa arrangements.

Will I be expected to document my Dil Internship Project Experience?

We will provide platforms for video diaries and blogs. We would greatly appreciate you sharing your insights of the Dil Internship Project, so we can help fulfil our vision of matching exciting talent with exciting Pakistani businesses.

Are the internships paid?

Yes. Interns will be paid competitive market rates.

Where will you provide accommodation?

Karachi and we will subsidise it in Dubai. No accommodation will be provided in London.

Can I apply to more than one position?

Yes, but please outline your preference in your Cover Letter.

Will I be paired with a mentor?

Yes, all interns will be given a mentor to liaise with and there will be 3 primary points of contact when you are in Karachi.

Where will I live?

We will provide you a whole set of details regarding accommodation upon by the interview round.
